Physical security became an IT problem the moment cameras, readers and intercoms moved onto the corporate network. Most integrators stop at the device; most IT providers will not touch it. ProTelesis does both, which is why we acquired Amer-X Security in December 2025 and brought a full physical-security engineering bench in-house.

That means one design, one install crew, one support number — whether the failure is a switch port, a PoE budget, a VLAN, or a camera that stopped recording overnight.
